A malevolent mist brings terror to an American town in a new Stephen King drama
From Misery to The Shining, you can rely on author Stephen King to deliver serious frights, and the best-selling writer doesn’t disappoint in chilling new Netflix series The Mist.
Loosely based on his 1980 novella of the same name, The Mist is set in the fictional New England town of Bridgeville, where an ominous mist rolls in, bringing untold terror to the local residents.
‘It’s a horror story, but it’s much more about what people will do when they are blinded by fear, how they react and how relationships unfold,’ explains Danish showrunner Christian Torpe. ‘It’s about whether you give in to the fear or you find a way to rise above it.’
