CHAT SHOW

The Late Late show with James Corden

Tuesday-Friday, Sky One HD, 10pm

James Corden is back in Blighty this week when the former Gavin & Stacey star brings his hit American chat show to London for four special episodes broadcast on Sky One from Tuesday to Friday.

It’s the second year running that The Late Late Show has been recorded in the UK and this time James’ special guests include Cher, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Niall Horan and Foo Fighters.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old was spotted in London last month filming a special Crosswalk the Musical sequence with Andrew Lloyd Webber, which saw James recreating scenes from Evita, Cats, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Here, James reveals how he loves living in Los Angeles, but can’t wait to come home to Britain again…

You’re returning home for The Late Late Show. What’s your favourite part of the UK? Primrose Hill, which is just north of Regent’s Park. To me, it really is the most beautiful and perfect part of London. It pulls at my heart when I think about it.

When you’re back in London, do you ever take the tube or a bus? I’m a tube guy. Without question, the tube is the best way to get around. I love the tube. I’ve had some great moments down there.
