Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne hunt a killer in the magical and dangerous world of Carnival Row
Welcome to the strange and enticing world of Carnival Row, a visually stunning Victorian-set drama series that combines the criminal intrigue of Ripper Street with the magical fantasy of The Lord of the Rings.
Set in 1800s London, the eight-parter stars Orlando Bloom as detective Rycroft Philostrate, who is investigating a string of unsolved murders that threatens the uneasy peace between humans and the fairy folk and other mythical creatures, including fauns and centaurs, who fled to the city after their homelands were invaded.
With the creatures confined to Carnival Row in London, tensions are simmering between the human citizens and the growing immigrant population, which is forbidden to live, love or fly with freedom.
As the truce between the two sides starts to crumble due to the murders, Rycroft teams up with his lost love, fairy Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne), to try to find who’s responsible.
