Simon Reeve’s latest epic adventure sees him travel down the length of North America, from the icy wilderness of Alaska to cannabis farms in Colorado and the tropical heat of Costa Rica.

The Americas with Simon Reeve will be shown in two parts, with his journey through South America to be broadcast next year. The first five-part series begins this week in Alaska and Canada where, as well as magnificent mountains, stunning scenery, and incredible wildlife, there is a dark side.

Indigenous people fear that their way of life is being threatened, drug addiction is spiraling and, since the 1970s, an estimated 4,000 women and girls have disappeared.
