But she’s also one of Britain’s most enthusiastic dog lovers, so she was thrilled to make her debut as a TV entertainment presenter by hosting Pooch Perfect, BBC1’s eight-part search for the country’s best dog groomer.
Smith provides moral support for the 16 groomers attempting to win over judges and experts Colin Taylor and Verity Hardcastle with their scissoring and styling skills.
