WOLFE

NEW FRIDAY / SKY MAX & SKY SHOWCASE / 9PM / EP 1 OF 6 / DRAMA

The world of forensics is given a new spin in Sky’s gritty but bleakly funny crime drama Wolfe, from award-winning No Offence writer Paul Abbott.

The six-part series centres on brilliant university lecturer and forensic scientist Professor Wolfe Kinteh, played by Babou Ceesay (Dark Money, We Hunt Together), who, with his team of crime-scene experts, including single mum Dot (Sherlock’s Amanda Abbington), helps the police solve a variety of grisly cases in the north of England.

But Wolfe is also unpredictable and troubled. He is living apart from his wife and their teenage daughter and suffers from bipolar disorder.

TV Times spoke to Babou, 42, via video during a break in filming in Manchester to find out more…

How do you see Wolfe?

He’s teaching forensics but his lab also does forensics for the police and they use him for complex cases, with the knowledge that he’s going to do things his own way!
