CORONATION STREET
MON, WED & FRI / ITV / 7.30PM & 8.30PM / SOAP
The late Seb Franklin is back on screen in Coronation Street this week
But this is Weatherfield, not Dallas, and there’s no miracle return for Abi’s lad, who was brutally killed back in May when he and girlfriend Nina Lucas were set upon by Corey Brent and his gang, purely because of Nina’s goth appearance.
The day before Corey and Kelly Neelan are due to stand trial for murder and GBH, Nina – who was seriously injured in the attack – starts to have flashbacks. Deciding to retrace her and Seb’s steps, she heads to the scene of the crime with Abi, Summer, Asha, and Aadi.
In a series of specially shot reconstruction scenes, viewers will be transported back to the night of Seb’s murder, and the truth about what happened is revealed as Nina’s memory finally returns.
Here, Harry Visinoni, 22, who plays Seb, tells TV Times more...
When were these flashback scenes filmed, and was it always the plan for you to return?
We filmed them in July, so it was very much separate from what we filmed earlier in the year. And, yes, always the plan. I was given strict instructions not to cut my hair!
