Noel Fielding on his transformation from alternative comedian to much-loved Great British Bake Off star…
COOKERY
The Great British
BAKE OFF TUESDAY / C4 / 8PM
Noel Fielding was by no means an obvious choice for The Great British Bake Off, but he soon won us over with his gentle humour, chemistry with co-host Sandi Toksvig, and inspired foodie shirts. Indeed he’s now just as important to the C4 show as showstopper bakes!

So how does it feel to go from niche comedian to one of the most popular shows on British telly?
Chatting with TV Times outside the famous tent, Noel, 45, reveals how the job has changed his life…
