Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli tell TV Times about embarking on a grand tour of their adopted homeland together…

They may not always agree when it comes to judging celebrity dancers, but after working together on Strictly Come Dancing for nearly 20 years, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli are firm friends.

Now they’re becoming traveling companions, too, in ITV’s new series Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips.

The pair are keen motorists, but so far their travels in the UK have mostly been limited to showbiz tours with hectic schedules that left little time for sightseeing. But that’s all about to change as they hit the road for a trip around the country that’s sure to be fab-u-lous!

Here, Craig, 56, and Bruno, 65, reveal what lies ahead...

What can we expect from the trip?

BRUNO Sights that I never thought existed – and so accessible. You just go off the main road and you’re surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. For me, it was a revelation – wasn’t it, Craig?

CRAIG Yes, it was for me as well. Bruno is from Italy, and I am from Australia, and I’ve only done a certain amount of traveling around the UK – and only really going to one destination, not driving through a whole area and discovering it.

So it was interesting for me, particularly the Yorkshire Dales. I discovered what a dale actually was, and that there are over 170 of them in the area.
