There was little to like about the Taylor family when they arrived in Walford in a clapped-out van, blasting music loud enough to shake the foundations of The Queen Vic.

But three years on from their not-so-grand entrance, Karen and her crew are iconic characters in the making, having proved that beneath their brash exteriors are salt-of-the-earth grafters, doing their best to cope with life’s few ups and many downs.
