The price of FREEDOM...

Fans were left with an agonising cliffhanger at the end of the third series of The Handmaid’s Tale. The 2019 run ended as fearless rebel June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) was shot while helping to smuggle children out of a fictional USA – now a brutal dictatorship – into Canada.

The long-awaited fourth season arrives this week and shows June to be alive, if not exactly well. Now in a safe house, she soon realises that something horrific has been happening there…

Meanwhile, June’s former Gilead Commander, Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes), and his wife Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski) are both under arrest in Canada, awaiting trial for war crimes.

Here, Elisabeth, 38, and co-star Joseph, 51, tell us all they can about what lies ahead…

What can we expect from series four of The Handmaid’s Tale?
