The first series of BBCi's class-clash comedy The Other One followed the misadventures of half-sisters Catherine 'Cathy Walcott and Catherine "Cat' Walcott, who had no idea of each other's existence until the death of their dad.

Then, having just got used to each other, larger-than-life Cat (Lauren Socha) found out they also had a secret brother, Callum (Christopher Jeffers) - with uptight Cathy (Ellie White) unwittingly kissing him before the shock discovery!

As the show, created by Holly Walsh (Motherland), returns for a second outing, the siblings are still reeling from the news, while Cat's mum Marilyn (Siobhan Finneran) and Cathy's mum Tess (Rebecca Front) find themselves looking after Callum's mum Angela (new cast signing Michele Austin), who has been thrown out by her furious husband.
