Chief Constable Bill Hixon finds himself under increasing pressure to ax jobs at East Lincolnshire Police Force as Wild Bill concludes this week.

‘Everybody feels it will be their head on the block any minute, but as Bill has become inextricably connected to all these people, it’s become harder for him to pull the plug,’ says Rob Lowe, who plays him.

Bill needs more manpower than ever, though, when the bodies of five men are found burning after being shot in the head.
