George Clooney and Hugh Laurie are among a star-studded cast in black comedy-drama Catch-22, based on the famous novel by Joseph Heller. Set at the tail end of World War Two, the six-parter follows naive US bombardier John Yossarian who finds himself trapped in an impossible situation as he flies bombing missions over Italy.

Yossarian (Christopher Abbott) is desperate to escape the war, but finds himself in ‘Catch-22’ – an impossible rule that means only servicemen deemed crazy are allowed to go home but asking to go home proves you’re not crazy in the eyes of your superiors!
