Marlon and Jessie’s marriage has been on shaky ground since Hotten Academy headteacher Jessie resigned from her job over the scandal involving teenage student Jacob and predator teacher Maya.
Jessie has been taking her frustration out on chef Marlon.
‘She feels Marlon is not supporting her as much as he could do,’ explains Sandra Marvin, who plays Jessie.
Matters haven’t been helped by the arrival of Jessie’s exhusband Al, who wants to reconnect with their son Ellis.
