While the actress is away filming, an all-smiles Jamie drops a bombshell revelation he’s a single man!

Just as Katie Holmes had finally allowed herself, at long last, to take the plunge and let the entire world know she was officially dating Jamie Foxx, the unlucky-in-love actress has found herself alone once again.

After five years of being romantically involved – both in secret and publicly – Katie, 40, was last week blindsided by the news her lover was “telling anyone within earshot” he’s single, before attending an exclusive party with a much-younger co-star, Jessica Szohr, who he recently cast in his directorial debut All-Star Weekend.

Making matters worse, Katie’s long-term boyfriend announced their apparent split on stage at an Oscars event in front of hundreds of Hollywood’s elite, while Katie was none the wiser, filming horror The Boy 2 in Canada.

According to reports, Jamie, 51 – who was performing hosting duties at a children’s hospital charity gala – dropped the bombshell during a half-hour monologue.

“While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line, ‘I’m single,’”says a source.
