While Kate glowed, the Sussexes put on a tense display
Fans expected new parents Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to be bursting with happiness as they attended the Queen’s birthday celebrations, especially since they recently welcomed their adorable baby boy Archie to the world.
But royal watchers were quick to notice Prince Harry’s furrowed brow as he sat alongside a sombrely dressed Meghan, 37, in the traditional procession, with experts claiming the couple showed signs of “tension”.
“Harry was wearing the blank but slightly wary expression he’s been seen doing a lot of recently,” body language expert Judi James reveals. “His teeth were clenched, suggesting some tension, and his lower jaw was slightly jutted, which can hint of resolution or determination.”
TAKING A BACK SEAT
With Meghan and Harry, 34, also banished to the back of Buckingham Palace’s balcony as the royals watched the traditional Red Arrows flyover, insiders say the prince was upset his wife was cast aside in favour of his more popular sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge.
