Harry and Meghan were so loved-up at a pal’s island wedding that even the priest had something to say.
THERE they stood at the altar: the beautiful bride and her groom ready to commit their lives to each other. But as they said their vows most of their guests’ attention was focused elsewhere – on the loved-up couple in the third pew who were holding hands and exchanging (Turn over) flirty whispers and adoring glances.
Even the minister officiating at the ceremony noticed them. As Prince Harry and his beautiful girlfriend, Meghan Markle, later emerged arm in arm from Hopewell Baptist Church in Jamaica at the end of the service Pastor Conrad Thomas couldn’t resist. “It’s your turn next, sir,” he said.
Harry (32) just gave a cheeky grin. While marriage might still be a way off, royal watchers are reading Meghan’s presence at the wedding as a sign that things are getting serious.
“This is the first time Harry has shown her off so publicly by taking her to a friend’s wedding,” a pal says. “She’s met his mates before but this is different. It’s a really significant step.”
The prince and the sexy Suits actress have been trying to stay under the radar with their blossoming romance since they started dating in June last year – which was why their affectionate displays at the wedding of his friend Tom “Skippy” Inskip to software developer Lara Hughes-Young has really set tongues wagging.
“They’re both head over heels and don’t care who sees it,” an insider says.
Having been pretty much inseparable since they started dating last year, the couple found it hard going when they were forced to spend a few weeks apart recently after the American returned to her home base in Toronto, Canada, to prepare for the filming of the new season of her hit TV series.
