She's been dubbed the “naughty niece” and “queen of party dressing” because of her love of living it up on the London party scene.
And Lady Kitty Spencer laps it all up, documenting her nights on the town loud and proud on her Instagram account.
Yet while the eldest child of Princess Diana’s brother doesn’t mind who follows her life of glitz and glamour, there’s one thing she isn’t prepared to flaunt on social media: her love-life.
Which is a pity, because her romance with Michael Lewis, a fabulously rich South African-born businessman, is nothing short of intriguing.
The couple have been spotted together only twice and have shied away from talking publicly about their relationship. But big things are definitely afoot – and there could well be another royal-related wedding in the offing soon.
Michael reportedly popped the question while he and the blonde beauty were on holiday in the Mother City, where Kitty (29) grew up. “He proposed before Christmas and she told her mother and the rest of the family,” a source says.
Everyone was delighted, the insider adds – despite the eyebrow-raising age gap. At 60, Michael is more than twice Kitty’s age and a full five years older than her dad, Princess Diana’s brother Charles, Earl Spencer.
“Michael is loved by all of them,” the source says. “Despite his wealth he’s very humble and low key.”
The couple were first spotted in public in May last year when they were snapped leaving the exclusive The Mark in Manhattan, New York – the same hotel where Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, had her baby shower. Michael left the hotel first, waiting outside for an Uber.
It was only when the car pulled up that Kitty stepped out and the pair hopped swiftly inside. “Both kept their heads down and walked quickly to the car,” an onlooker says.
