A side from being an acclaimed actress, Sheila Sim can also be described as an accomplished model, a well-being advocate, and more recently, a mum. Every role she takes on brings her closer to herself. The secret, she shares, lies in being able to see opportunities and welcome them with open arms. Never one to rest on her laurels, the model-turned actress has gone from gracing the runways of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and other fashion houses, to getting a degree in positive psychology and starting her own business venture.
For Sim, joining Zenith as a friend of the brand is only the next natural step. A continuation of the Dreamhers campaign, the brand’s collaboration with Sim carries on as they welcome her into the Zenith family. “Always progressing, ever so stylish, ever so classy,” she says. “What an honour to be part of Zenith family! It’s a brand that speaks from the heart.” She goes on to share, “I hope Zenith and I can encourage people, be they young or old, to chase their dreams and reach for their star, no matter what obstacles may lie ahead on their paths.”
We speak to Sim about motherhood, the importance of self-care, and what it’s like to have her career (and story) evolve throughout the years.
It’s been a couple of months since you gave birth to Layla, what has motherhood been like so far?
