This ingredient may not be new, but it’s trending – and with good reason. A new selection of product launches has brought this underrated star back into the game. So what does azelaic acid do? A lot. It is used extensively to treat acne, rosacea, melasma, and hyperpigmentation. It is also known to help exfoliate the skin by unclogging pores and preventing future breakouts.
