Since Kōki, made her fashion debut some three years ago, she’s made a rapid ascent straight to the top – in the short span of time, she walked for Chanel’s Cruise 2020 show, appeared in multiple Coach campaigns, and became the first Japanese ambassador of Bulgari. The model was also recently named Estée Lauder’s global face and counts Louis Vuitton as one of the houses that she frequently collaborates with. Having dabbled in songwriting, the multi-talented youngest daughter of Japanese entertainment industry icons, Takuya Kimura and Shizuka Kudo, is now set to make her film debut in Ushikubi Mura, by filmmaker and Ju-On creator, Takashi Shimizu.
Congratulations on your upcoming movie debut! Is there anything you can tell us about the film, Ushikubi Mura, and your role in it?
Thank you so much! It has truly been such an amazing and unforgettable experience. I am forever grateful to the director and the whole team because they have taught me and supported me so much, and have given me such a precious treasure. I cannot say much in detail but there is a surprise to the role!
