DO THIS

UPDATE YOUR SIGNATURE SCENT

Getting away from your ol’ faithful needn’t be traumatic. For a foolproof switch, Michael Marzano, national education manager at Agence de Parfum, suggests seeking out citrus, water and fruity fragrances. “They are always an easy step away from florals, and add sparkling freshness, which is especially good for summer,” he explains.

DO THIS

KEEP SKIN HYDRATED

Sun and air-conditioning can leave skin dehydrated, cutting the lifespan of scent on our bodies. “Perfume lasts longer on moisturised skin than dry skin, so layer perfume with a body lotion – either unscented or in a matching scent – to enhance the longevity,” says Mecca fragrance education manager Laura Curtis.
