A young entrepreneur who creates magic with her designs, Era Kapoor represents the 21st-century woman who is independent, empowering and successful. She continues to pour all of her passion into every project she takes up, giving her clients the care and attention they deserve.

Providing an insight into her journey so far, Era says, “I strongly believe that I was born with an innate sense of creativity. As a child, I was very fond of decorating my room. In my growing up years, when my house was getting redesigned, I would look into the finest details of what was happening around. My family liked what I did and started seeking my suggestions for everything related to interiors. This sparked my interest and what began as a hobby, turned into my career.”

She further, “During my college, I studied designing and took interiors as my specialization. After this, I began working as a professional interior designer with a leading firm in Delhi. During my initial years, I was raw, but this opportunity widened my horizons and gave me wings to fly. Later, I felt the need to work independently and began with my own startup. This was the turning point in my life, as I was free to explore the paths less trodden and give complete freedom to my creativity and passion for designing.”

 With the grace of God, things have always fallen in place for Era. She quips, “I have never come across challenges owing to my gender. After I got married and shifted to Amritsar, there were some hiccups initially but slowly and steadily I learnt the art of balancing work and personal life. Now that I am a mother of two, I make sure that while my work remains my priority, I spend quality time with my daughters.”
