Called Paper Flowers, Reed Krakoff’s latest collection was inspired by the organic strokes and asymmetrical shapes of flower petals cut from a piece of paper. The new Tiffany & Co. pieces are in many ways emblematic of his personal mantra, “formality doesn’t equal luxury”. The jewellery pieces are made for day-to-day dressing despite the extravagant materials used to make them. The debut collection of brand’s new chief artistic officer signifies a new chapter for the jeweller – paying reverence to the maison’s past while bringing creativity and excitement. The company retains its relevance as potently as when Holly Golightly named-dropped the maison in the seminal namesake movie.
