In anticipation of the release of the 25th official James Bond film, No Time To Die, later in 2020, OMEGA has unveiled the successor to the illustrious line of 007 watches that came before. Making its presence known on-screen in the upcoming movie, the new Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition is a nonlimited edition watch that is a most welcome addition to the Seamaster range from OMEGA’s collection and is now available fans of James Bond as well as OMEGA.
With valuable input from Daniel Craig and the 007 producers, the new Seamaster is crafted in line with military requirements. OMEGA invested much effort to remain in close contact with Craig throughout the design process to understand the watch features that James Bond may need during his field missions.
The case of the 007 edition measures 42mm in diameter and is made of Grade 2 Titanium. A matching mesh bracelet of the same material comes with an innovative adjustable buckle to attach the watch to the wrist. This combination ensures that the watch is durable and lightweight and suitable for use for an undercover agent. To further reduce the overall weight of the timepiece, OMEGA has utilized “tropical” brown aluminium for both the dial and the bezel ring. Coincidentally, these components lend a classic aesthetic to the watch especially when coupled with the vintage Super-LumiNova filling the diving scale, blackened hands, and indices.
