Shraddha Kapoor came into the limelight with her commercially successful romantic film Aashiqui 2' in 2013, where she played the role of a singer, starring opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
The film gained wide popularity and earned Shraddha several accolades, including the Filmfare nomination for Best Actress.
Shraddha's journey in the film industry began with the film 'Teen Patti,' a multi-starrer movie that unfortunately didn't help her much, but it was sheer hard work and enthusiasm that got her first lead role in the film 'thy Ka The End' that turned out to be a popular drama among the school and college-going audiences.
Being the daughter of veteran Bollywood artiste Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha learnt the nitty-gritties of the film industry at an early age and inspired by her father, she was prompted to take up acting as a career. And after the resounding success of her film Aashiqui 2' there was no looking back for Shraddha. She continued to rise to stardom with movies like `Haider' (2014), the romantic thriller `Ek Villain' (2014), the dance drama `ABCD 2' (2015) and the action thriller `Baagh, (2016) all of which are commercial successes.
In a candid chat, the acclaimed actress speaks about the secrets of her upbeat energy, her skin care regime, fondness for fitness and her love for simplicity. Read on to know more about this spirited bubbly star.
