Philips Home Care has seen double digit growth month-on- month since its launch
Over the last few years, the acceptance of healthcare at home in India has been growing by leaps and bounds. Home healthcare is about providing essential patient care and health services to people in the convenience of their home. Philips visualises healthcare as a continuum since it suggests the notion of continuous care, ranging from prevention to post hospitalisation care.
Managing diseases in today’s environment requires not only providing effective care for the patients, but also reducing the overall healthcare spend while maintaining quality and efficacy. Furthermore, the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases is prompting healthcare professionals to look for innovative ways to manage patients. Philips Home Care Services, launched in September 2016, is a collaborative approach to implement physician-driven care plans with affordable and qualitative treatment in the comfort of a patient’s home.
The clinical protocols have been developed in consultation with leading hospitals and prominent doctors in the country. With a focus on remote monitoring and management for chronically ill patients, Philips Home Care provides respiratory and critical care at home.
