I meet Jeff Witherspoon, a natural-born athlete that has always had a passion for being active. From his early days as a track star to his more remarkable military career, Jeff has always been able to push himself to the limit. Jeff discovered that fitness was about more than just exercise and that it could also be a release therapy that not only helped him but those around him. Today, Jeff is sharing his experience after seeing firsthand how being able to help others through health, fitness and wellness sparked his desire to become a personal trainer to provide accurate and factual advice to anyone wanting to improve their fitness level.
Welcome to Men's Fitness Jeff, it's a pleasure to have you. For those that might not already know who you are, could you tell us a bit about yourself and what got you started on your fitness journey?
It is a pleasure to be with you. I am a certified personal trainer that has been into fitness for most of my life. I am known for training thousands of clients around the world through online personal training. I was fortunate to be somewhat of a natural athlete but needed to push my fitness to the next level to complete several rigorous military training courses. Seeing my body go from lean and lanky to more muscular sparked a fire in me to continue training. My workouts have always been very intense which caused other gym-goers to ask me to draft workouts or meal plans for them. I did not want to provide any health and fitness advice without being certified so I decided to go for my personal training certification.
