Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra, the Director of The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, and a friend, philosopher and guide to thousands is a very humble man with outstanding qualities. He is one of those rare personalities who is most selfeffacing and continues to do his duty in a Karma Yoga spirit. He is always very quiet when asked about his views on his personal life, but we took the liberty of asking him a few questions as we feel he is the most outstanding yoga teacher in the world today and his wisdom needs to be shared by many. 27th April 2000 is when Dr. Jayadeva enters his seventy-second year. His six decades of incessant work offers an inspiration to all who want to tread the path of spirituality living in this world but not getting enmeshed in it.
