In areas like these, where log cabins and rustic retreats were once the predominate style; you now see the growing influence of modern architecture.
Modern architectural designs have been around for over a century, during which time, certain decades such as the 1950's and 80's saw a resurgence in popularity. The minimalistic ideals and geometrical shapes of the style are once again popular and their influence has reached the mountains.
