Home to one of Australia’s most respected artists, this beachside abode in Sydney’s east is a mixture of kaleidoscopic colours and bold artworks.
LOUISE OLSEN’S HOME IS AS JOYFUL AS YOU’D EXPECT. The co-founder of Australian jewellery and homewares brand Dinosaur Designs is renowned for her bold, colourful and modern creations – and her house in Sydney’s east is certainly no exception. She and her partner, Stephen Ormandy – a fellow artist and the other half of Dinosaur Designs – have lived in the Federation-style home in Bronte for over 20 years and admit they first fell in love with the property’s leafy seaside location. “We love being by the sea,” Louise says. “It’s so close to the city, but it feels like a retreat.”
