Louw & Louw Architects was commissioned for the full spectrum of architecture services, including interior design, to create an open-plan lifestyle-oriented home for a young family. The building was designed in such a way as to create sheltered courtyard spaces and promote indoor/outdoor living. The result is this beautiful contemporary family home.

Specialising in cast stone products, SmartStone manufactures and supplies cobbles, flagstones, cladding, landscaping products and much more. Responsible for this home’s inviting entrance and walkway paving, SmartStone supplied the Paduan Pavers to achieve the desired aesthetic. These slim design concrete pavers have a slightly textured finish and complement classic architectural design.

Oggie European Oak planks were used on the floor throughout this house, as well as on the stairs top and bottom, and on these delightful window boxes. The wood chosen was Greymist (190mm wide X 1 900mm long) from the Classico range of planks, and was finished with a WOCA Denmark UV oil. Oggie has showrooms in Paarden Eiland, Parkhurst and Umhlanga Village.
