THE AGARWAL RESIDENCE IN FARIDABAD, DESIGNED BY DEEPTI BANSAL AND JOAQUIM RODRIGUES IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF LUXURIOUS INDULGENCEDOING JUSTICE TO ITS LUSH SURROUNDINGS.
When architect duo Deepti Bansal and Joaquim Rodrigues, Principle Architects of Purple Studio, were approached to design the residence for Mr. Agarwal in Faridabad, the client had given them his clear requirement: being a nature lover, he wanted the house surrounded by greens, and to enjoy the views of Community Park from every corner.
This magnificent residence sits on a built-up area of 5,800 sq. ft., and is truly breathtaking. When asked about the design philosophy, Deepti shares, “The entire house is filled with natural light, which is the USP of its design. The exterior of the residence has a blend of natural wood, stone and metal. Granite is used for the textured boundary wall, along with a backlit patterned cement wall, which adds liveliness to the entrance. The elevation has a painted wall, which complements the angular wedged slate clad wall. There is a backlit 30 ft tall tree silhouette on the façade. The colour palette of the exterior has been designed keeping in mind the surroundings.”
