While some couples have to try their luck at getting a BTO flat multiple times, Shahrina and Firdaus were lucky enough to get their home in Punggol on the first try. Now married for six years, they arranged for a renovation as soon as they got the keys—and they couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
“We had very clear priorities going into the renovation,” shares the couple, having aimed for a modern luxe theme with marble, brass and gold elements. “We wanted that hotel feel while keeping things cosy at the same time. A place we can call home and look forward to after a long day at work.”
