The art of Graffiti combines creativity and a symbolic breakaway. A sneak peek into the creative minds of four Graffiti artists from across the globe…
BOA MISTURA
Graffiti is an art that... Stays in the street, is our urban democratic museum, it is an art made to and for the people, without any distinction.
I was introduced to Graffiti...
Since we very very young, we wanted to make some kind of artistic change, so we started producing our own painted voices, that was when we realized that painted walls with positive and inspiring phrases or just colours can change the perspective of every single person.
Playing with colours...
Is our favourite playground.
Art to me...
Is the motor of our job, thus our lives.
Most challenging part about being a Graffiti artist...
That sometimes people tend to think that this is kind of vandalic, but if you do it to improve the urban space with beautiful and static interventions what is vandalic about that.
What is your creative process like...
There is never a process, inspiration comes according to the intervention that we are making, every project has its own process or in our case its own “inspiration”.
The most interesting part about being a Graffiti artist...
Is that there are no boundaries.
EVER FRESH STUDIO
Graffiti is an art that…
Has helped me in finding the friction point between beauty and decay.
I was introduced to Graffiti…
If you talk about Graffiti, you talk about Australia and you’ve got to talk about Melbourne which introduced me to the art.
Playing with colours…
