She has it all: An enviable modelling career, billionaire boyfriend and her own beauty brand. But as we discovered, there’s so much more to Jessica Hart and her pivotal life moments.
Imagine being born as Jessica Hart, genetically blessed with a bikini model-bod, effortless blonde beach waves, a facial bone structure many of us would pay money for, and a signature tooth gap that won over the modelling world. You might think that the enviable life of traversing the globe, attending shows and dating one of the world’s richest men was handed to her on a silver platter. It would be too easy to hate her, but the thing is, you probably wouldn’t. With her carefree, affable charm, Jessica is at the peak of a glamorous life. But what’s not so obvious, is that it has taken years of hard work; far removed from her humble beginnings.
Raised as a “little hippie kid” in Victoria, Australia, she was scouted as a teen and landed her first cover shoot at 14. But she recently tearily revealed to the media she and her sister Ashley were born out of a “rocky marriage”, her mother leaving her father so Jessica “would always have [Ashley]”.
Launching her modelling career in her late teens, landing coveted international editorials and snagging some of the biggest clients, she now rubs shoulders with fashion’s largest names, sits in the front row, swats away marriage rumours with oil magnate Stavros Niarchos, and has levelled up her career by launching her own cosmetics line.
Tough Cookie
With her obvious good looks, it’s easy to typecast the 30-year-old supermodel as a token hot chick. Just another Victoria’s Secret model, just another face on the runway. But to say that she gained her foothold in the industry just by winning big at the genetic lottery, would not do justice to the career Jessica has eked out.
