Daniel Arzani is delighted to have joined Celtic on a two-year loan deal, and having done some research on the club, he’s now ready to play his part in creating more Hoops history.
ON discovering Celtic could be the next destination in his fledging career, Daniel Arzani went online and carried out his own research. He quickly came to the conclusion that this was an exciting opportunity he wanted to grasp.
The 19-year-old already knew the Bhoys were a big club, commanding respect on the European stage, but he was blown away by their illustrious history, along with the size, scale and passion of the Hoops faithful.
And having completed his two-year loan deal with the Scottish champions from Manchester City, subject to international clearance, the highly-rated Australian internationalist told the Celtic View that he couldn’t wait to experience playing in front of the Celtic fans in Paradise.
“The most exciting thing at signing for Celtic will have to be playing my first home game in front of the crowd,” he said in an exclusive interview. “I’ve heard it’s absolutely mental. I’m excited by a lot of things but playing in the stadium at home or in a derby game will be incredible.
“I saw a video from when the boys won the Scottish Cup last season. They were on the open-top bus after the game, and there were green flares everywhere and people crammed around the bus – just absolutely great scenes.
