CELTIC Tour Guide Matt Corr is always quick to share the story of Brother Walfrid and the club’s humble beginnings with those taking part in his tours.
Knowing the importance of the club’s charitable origins, Matt has decided to take on the New York Marathon on November 4, with the aim of raising funds for Celtic FC Foundation.
Matt, who has already completed the Dublin, London and Berlin marathons has been training hard in recent months and is eager to tackle his next big challenge.
Speaking of his excitement ahead of the New York event, he said: “I’m really looking forward to getting over to New York now for the run.
“Training has been going really well and I’ve managed to take in three half-marathons since May. Myself and three of my family members did the Edinburgh race and then in July, I took part in the Midnight Sun Run in Tromso, which was incredible.
