In the last few years, the skincare industry has grown tremendously. Not only are companies focussing on offering new and improved formulations but they are also gradually taking the ‘natural’ path for the benefit of their customers and the planet. Even in India, more and more skincare companies are creating products and skincare lines that are vegan and cruelty-free. One such company that has received positive feedback from beauty enthusiasts across the country is Vaunt Skincare.
The company is fairly new, however they have already been featured on different national beauty magazines. When you first research the brand, you may be a little surprised that they do not have a very long list of products to their name but don’t let that fool you. Their products are high-quality and effective, no wonder they are being raved about beauty bloggers and skincare content creators. We love the minimal packaging, and even though the prices may be a bit more than regular brands, the quality of the products justifies the price tag. Here are our three recommendations –
Daisy Extract + Vit B Face Wash
If you are looking for a good, gentle face wash then this is the one that you should check out. It is a non-foaming formula but it will still clean your face of all the impurities and dirt at the end of the day. If you tend to use waterproof eye makeup then you should massage the formula in before wiping it off with the help of a cotton pad. The formula is especially good for combination skin.

MUSINGS OF A SOLDIER: TIT-BITS
People often ask me about my life out of uniform. Honestly, I have had no problems. Not so far. Instead, I find it quite refreshing. No routine, no parades, no briefing, no impending operations. Having donned the uniform since the age of thirteen until I hung up my boots last year, could I ever visualize life out of uniform? Not really. But, as I said, the transition has been quite smooth–no hang-overs, no regrets. People have been very positive in their interactions. Government departments have been responsive whenever I have approached for assistance. The genuine respect for the uniform is quite evident and it makes my heart swell with pride. Arunachal, to that extent, is the most nationalistic state in the country, I daresay. It has been kind of a revelation for me to experience the freedom of being a common man in an environment of positivity!
