#1 Bye Bye Back Fat…
… and hello to a shapely silhouette!
Even slim, fit and active people can be plagued by stubborn fat that simply won’t budge – especially on the back. Call them back rolls, back wings, bra fat, muffin-tops or whatever, it’s not a good look. So, must we forget about summery, spaghetti strap tops and plunging evening gowns?
It’s a rhetorical question, and the answer is of course no. Right here in Singapore, Brazilian plastic surgeon Dr Marco Faria Correa uses liposuction or liposculpture to surgically remove unwanted fat deposits and help you attain the dramatically improved silhouette you’ve always dreamt of.
Back rolls: Liposuction is the way to get rid of the unsightly, exercise-resistant wings that sprout when you put your bra on. In more advanced cases, subsequent skin surgery can be useful.
Armpit lumps: Bulging armpit fat, sometimes due to accessory breast tissue or polymastia in both men and women, can effectively be flattened with liposuction through a small cannula. If surgery is required, the scar can be hidden in the armpit crease.
Bat’s wings: For flabby arms or bat’s wings, two or three sessions of liposuction will thin down the fat layer but leave the skin intact. While the skin gradually retracts, you’ll need to do some work to build up your arm muscles – that’s how to achieve the best possible results.
