An Ode To The '90s

Motivated by the exchange between French craftsmanship and American sports, Virgil Abloh created a limited clothing and accessories line with NBA in 2020, uniting the emblems of the two institutions. The collection adopted the designer’s codes with the iconography of the basketball universe and honored the values of relatability.

For Pre-Fall 2021, the collaborative partnership expanded for yet another season. In its second season, the bond between the French luxury house and the professional basketball league explores our collective memories of the two cultural institutions around the time of 1990s’ basketball mania. Abloh combines the trademarks of the house and the NBA in a transversal celebration of pop culture, fashion, and sports.
