DESPITE HER PAST JOB, THE BRIDE INSISTS SHE'S IN THE EXPERIMENT FOR LOVE

Married at First Sight fans were left reeling when footage of bride Holly auditioning for a Hollywood TV series surfaced online.

With a near-perfect American accent, Holly, 36, recited a script for the superhero series, Arrow.

While many participants in the past have been accused of using MAFS to boost their careers, Holly exclusively tells New Idea she came on for one reason only - love!

“Acting and lifestyle modeling is a passion of mine! It is not my focus. However, I love being on set occasionally when I can, when it fits into my lifestyle!

“I can only hope it continues to be a part of my life in some small way, along with being a wife and mother one day soon,” she adds, clarifying that she is not acting on the series.

While Holly joined the experiment to hopefully find the one, her showbiz past still had some fans questioning her motives. Over the years, the bride has appeared in a handful of feature films, including the 2010 action-thriller, The Devil's 6 Commandments, and The Bondi Chronicles in 2013.

While those two films were shot locally and had a limited release, in 2017 Holly traveled to Canada after she was cast in NBC's time-travel TV drama, Timeless.

"Timeless was a US series shot in Vancouver. I was lucky enough to score a small role on an episode! Although small, it was an incredible experience that I'll always hold close to my heart!" Holly says.
