SHE’LL BE CALLING AUSTRALIA HOME FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER
NICOLE RACES TO MUM'S SIDE

Nicole Kidman had the whole of Australia buzzing when she took to the red carpet in Sydney to launch her critically acclaimed new film, Being the Ricardos, last month. But despite recently winning her sixth Golden Globe for playing Lucille Ball, Nicole has revealed some sad news about her personal life.

Typically, the in-demand actress would be returning to Nashville, Tennessee right about now with her husband, Keith Urban, and their girls Sunday and Faith, after spending the festive season Down Under. However, in a recent interview, Nicole confirmed she was staying put for the foreseeable future to care for her ailing mother, Janelle.

“We’re down here primarily to take care of my mother and to have her surrounded by her grandchildren,” she explained.

Thankfully, despite COVID cases surging in Sydney where Janelle is based, Nicole revealed she has been able to share precious time with her 81-year-old mother – including a private visit to the Art Gallery of NSW.
