We saw her recently as the bubbly Meera in Veere Di Wedding. Daughter of actor Tiku Talsania, Shikha Talsania has been a known face, both on screen (Wake Up Sid, My Friend Pinto…) and on stage—she does theatre extensively. But true recognition has come to her post her lead role in the Kareena Kapoor Khan-Sonam Kapoor-Swara Bhaskar starrer. And did she impress!
Having no qualms about being a plus-size actor, Shikha instead carries her weight around with much aplomb, letting her talent speak for itself. The actress shares her style secrets with us here. No prizes for guessing that she likes it simple and sweet.
How would you define your personal style?
Comfortable. Skirts, jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, and heels—anything that makes me feel happy and confident.
What is that one piece in your wardrobe that you could refer to as ‘timeless’ in fashion?
A white shirt and a pair of blue jeans.

Anything in black.
How would you dress up for a monsoon brunch party?
Something easy-peasy. A dress with gumboots or jeans, white shirt with gumboots.
