Hui Mathews: The Trail Runner

Ash Be Nimble, Hui Mathews, went ahead to work on her dream anyway, in 2014. “I had decided to quit my job to pursue the business full time (back then), and here we are, turning three this year!” says the 31-year-old mother to one-year-old Asha. Being an active trail runner herself, Hui wanted to share her journey and excitement with the running community. So Ash Be Nimble has been hosting community trail runs and fitness events while collaborating with local and international fitness enthusiasts.

Your mental game? “The past year has been a challenge for me. The stress of running the business and having a baby is a mental ultra-marathon. But I constantly remind myself that I am surrounded by a loving family, a passionate team and amazingly supportive friends and customers. For that, I am blessed.”
