Meet at Agra 2018- 12 th edition of Leather, Footwear Components and Technology Fair was organised by Agra
Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Chamber (AFMEC) from 26 to 28 October 2018 at the newly constructed Agra Trade Centre, Singhna Village, NH-2, Agra.
This Fair was a huge success and the new “Agra Trade Centre” located at a distance of 25 Km from the city was highly appreciated by the exhibiters and the dignitaries present at the fair. It is believed that it will boost exports from Agra.
The fair was organized in 6000 Sq. M Area & participated by 165 Companies in two halls having 230 stands. Direct participation of overseas companies was from France, Italy, Spain, Brazil and China. Besides this, about 30 overseas companies from various countries participated through their agents in India.
The fair was inaugurated on 26 October by Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India through his Video Speech. He was not able to be present in the fair due to some important Official engagement in Delhi.
Satya Dev Pachauri, Minister of MSME , Uttar Pradesh present on the occasion appreciated the newly constructed Agra Trade Centre and assured the industry that he will make all efforts to ensure that the footwear industry of Agra located in the TTZ area is not adversely affected in any way.
