We live in a world that, let’s be honest, pays an awful lot of attention to appearances. In an age where smartphones do the menial tasks of paying bills, buying groceries or even reminding us to drink water, it’s no surprise that the beauty industry has taken precedence, and we cannot imagine a blow dry-free existence. Today, it’s pretty much a widely-accepted fact that we rely heavily on technology to achieve almost everything. Does it really surprise you that those “effortless” Instagram-worthy photographs actually take a whole lot of work to achieve? But the question is, how much are we really willing to invest in the grand scheme of things?

There’s no doubt that the world of beauty has seen great technological advancements. From laser hair removal to blow-dry bars that are all the rage, the beauty industry has most certainly taken over technology. Fortunately, styling tools – blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons, etc. – have come a long way from what we’ve been used to. The simple high and low heat modes have been replaced with every functional detail, not only keeping the overall use of the product in mind but safety and heat damage, too. Let’s not forget the design! After all, it is all about appearances. But, it all boils down to the next best thing. And when it comes to tech, you can expect a few innovations and upgrades every few months.
