Ramakrishna Beach
At a stretch of 2.3 km, the wheelchair friendly Ramakrishna Beach is one of the most alluring beaches on the Eastern Coast. Finely sculpted statues of illustrious persons line the road. Kali temple, Submarine museum, Visakha museum, Ramakrishna mission and Victory at Sea are some of the attractions here.
Tenneti Park
Located at the foothills of Kailasagiri, this park offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Bengal. Offering vantage viewpoints, the park also has swings and rides for children.
Kailasagiri
Atop a hillock with an enchanting view of the sea, and the bustling city, the major attractions here are the 40 feet tall magnificent ShivaParvathi idol, floral clock, Titanic viewpoint, rope-way, toy-train and also the Telugu museum.
The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park
Spread over 625 acres, the zoo is home to a variety of animals including rare and exotic ones. Additionally, eco-friendly rickshaws, bicycles, a Biosphere Learning Centre, library and canteen ensure that the whole day spent here is worth it.
Kambalakonda Reserve Forest
Spread over 7,146 hectares, this wildlife sanctuary in the Eastern Ghats is an abode for rare species of endemic flora and wildlife. Boating, camping, trekking and bird-watching are popular activities here.
Rushikonda Beach
Popular amongst locals and tourists as a flat expansive beach, the waters here are favourable for Jet Ski and one can find Para Sailing activities too. The 14th century Sri Sapta Rusheswara Temple surrounded by seven hills is located here too.
Rama Naidu Studio
Majestically perched on an imposing hill, the Rama Naidu studio commands a breathtaking view of the shimmering, blue waters of Bay of Bengal. The studio is spread out on 9 acres of land.
