1 MERGE INDOORS AND OUT
Create a garden-room vibe by grouping plants around a window with a view, or just inside a set of doors leading out to the garden. Adding greenery where the house meets the garden can help blur the boundaries between the two areas, and create the illusion of more space. Use handled baskets or tubs on castors so it's easier to move large plants around as they grow.
2 SET THE SCENE
Create a welcoming first impression by filling a hallway console table with an array of greenery. Use flowering plants and blooms to set up a small tabletop display, then fill in the space above with wall-hung planters and hanging baskets. Choose a few low-maintenance ferns and trailing plants, or try mini air plants that will thrive in a windowless space.
3 MAKE HANGING GARDEN
To cheer up an empty wall, try this arrangement of hanging planters. Use a sturdy metal curtain pole, secured using two end brackets, then simply slot on various hanging planters, or add a couple of S-hooks to hang them from. Use planters of different lengths to create a staggered display that fills the wall space.
